There’s no doubt that Ashley Graham has been taking over the fashion industry by storm, and her latest campaign in collaboration with Addition Elle is pushing her up the pedestal even higher. Oozing with her signature sex appeal, Graham had people clamoring over her classic beauty captured in the entire photo shoot. The shots show her sitting on the backseat of a car, sporting a cranberry red lingerie that is part of the collection.
Ashley Graham for Addition Elle
As one of the leading providers of stylish plus-size clothing, Addition Elle has worked with top models in the industry. Aside from Graham, they have featured rising plus-size model Jordyn Woods as well as Iskra Lawrence. The Canadian fashion brand is also well-known for delivering a vast range of sizes with their lingerie line, even extending to DDD sizes.
Graham’s partnership with Addition Elle features a collection of stunning pieces that provide support for curvier figures. The lingerie designs Graham wore for her photo shoot feature a range of bold colors and dramatic embroidery. The ones shown on the Web site have similar designs. Graham, who personally designed the line herself, saw to it that each piece accentuated her figure.
Ashley Graham: Paving the Way for Plus-Size Models
This isn’t the first time Graham has garnered international attention. Earlier this year, she became the first plus-size model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated since the magazine released its first-ever issue in 1964. She also participated in a number of Levi campaigns as well as appearing in several ads for Evans, Hanes, Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom.
Graham’s influence as a plus-size model is unfathomable. Even after a brush with controversy back in 2010 when her Lane Bryant commercial was banned, it seems like nothing can stop Graham from continuously taking off. Speaking about the said incident, she had this to say, “I know my curves are sexy and I want everyone else to know that theirs are too.”
Last month, Graham flaunted her enviable figure as she modeled the Addition Elle line at this year’s New York Fashion Week. She tapped fellow models Marquita Pring and Sabina Karlsson to walk the same runway.
