Summer is officially here. That means the temperature gets hotter, skin gets darker, and clothes get shorter. It also means that your favorite retail brands would start rolling out their swimsuit campaigns. One big name that has already laid out its 2017 collection is Eloquii. The 2017 Eloquii Swimwear Campaign combats the “perfect bikini body” stereotype, and they’ve enlisted the help of five popular plus-size fashion bloggers: Essie Golden, Alex LaRosa, Kelly Augustine, Alex Michael May, and Ashby Vose.
First-Ever Eloquii Swimwear Collection Features Plus-Size Bloggers
The Eloquii swimwear campaign was officially launched on May 17, 2017. The brand is known for bringing stylish apparel to women size 14 to 28, so they made sure to live up to their commitment by delivering the best styles in their summer campaign.
Vice president of design and creative direction of Eloquii, Jodi Arnold, had this to say about the latest collection:
“The women we chose represent not only diversity of shape and size but are also dear friends of the brand who we knew were especially excited about our swim launch,” she told Mic. “We love how unique their styles are and wanted to represent that in this collection and campaign.”
Arnold added that consumers can expect a lot of colorful patterns, playful and navy prints along with a wide selection of sexy one-piece swimsuits and cutouts. There are currently 43 pieces in total. The price range is light on the pocket as well, most pieces from the collection are priced between $54.90 and $119.90.
To ensure high quality, Eloquii partnered with a swim manufacturer to construct each piece in the collection. They promise the right fit and features that are geared specifically toward plus-size women. This includes power-net-lined busts to support cup sizes D to F, heavy-weight tricot fabric to ensure smoothness, and underwire for extra support.
“As with everything we do, we listen to our customers and what they are asking for,” Arnold said. “Swim has been at the top of the list of our most-searched terms on a weekly basis since we launched three years ago. We wanted to make sure we did it right when we finally launched, so it took a few years, but we are really happy with the product.”
It is safe to say that the collection has been well-worth the wait, especially since the pieces are being modeled by the best influencers in the business. To check out Eloquii’s swimwear collection, click here.
