The year 2018 is a poised to be a great one for women. And this story proves just that.

Plus-size model Diana Sirokai is making headlines after she stripped down to her boots to recreate supermodel Gigi Hadid‘s famous ad. Twenty-one-year-old Sirokai, who hails from London, has long been vocal about promoting body confidence. She previously caused a stir online after she recreated Kim Kardashian‘s white swimsuit spread in Vogue. Those images garnered more than 35,000 likes on Instagram.

Diana Sirokai has once again proven that curves are beautiful too.

The 5’1″ model is known for recreating famous adverts and images in an effort to dispel stereotypes that only slim figures are “beautiful” or “acceptable” in society. In her latest Instagram photo, Sirokai took inspiration from supermodel Gigi Hadid’s photo shoot for Stuart Weitzman‘s spring 2017 footwear collection. The photo got worldwide attention after it featured Hadid in the nude wearing nothing but a pair of boots.

Sirokai’s photo is definitely on par with Hadid’s, and if there’s anything that we can learn from this, it’s that women are beautiful at any size.

“We are all unique and that’s what makes us special,” Sirokai shared in an interview with Metro.

“By recreating these images, I hope it reaches high fashion brands, and they will start making a change in the fashion industry.”

Though Sirokai’s platform to raise awareness on body confidence stems from a good place, she hasn’t escaped the bullying and negative comments online. But rather than letting this pull her down, it has only made her stronger. Sirokai has said that she hopes to help women learn to love themselves and value their unique features.

Judging by her great strides and efforts, it certainly looks like Sirokai is taking a step toward the right direction.
