Not too long ago, plus-size clothing store Lane Bryant launched a lingerie campaign that addressed the lack of body diversity in Victoria’s Secret. The bold campaign was given the name #ImNoAngel, and it managed to get attention from the most inspiring names in the industry, including Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine, Denise Bidot, and Orange Is the New Black actress Danielle Brooks.

This year, the highly publicized campaign returned, and this time, they made their annual debut in an ad aired during the annual Emmy Awards last September 17, 2017. This time, Lane Bryant is giving non-models the chance to be a part of the cause with the #ImNoAngel challenge, which will benefit the nonprofit women’s organization I Am B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.

Lane Bryant is raking up the headlines this week with their relaunch of the #ImNoAngel campaign from 2015. Graham and Brooks returned to be a part of this global movement, which aims to help everyone embrace all body types. Aside from that, the campaign is daring women to bare it all by sharing their personal journey to self-love.

Graham kicked off the campaign early last week after sharing her “Truth Is” video on her Instagram page. In the clip, the world-famous model admitted that despite her fierce personality on the runway and magazines, she hasn’t always been body-confident.

“The truth is, I don’t wake up every single morning loving the skin I’m in,” Graham shared. “It took me so many years because I haven’t always loved my lumps, bumps, cellulite, stretch marks. I want to give you encouragement because you too can love all of this, all of that.”

The video garnered a lot of positive response from the online community. The most exciting part is that this marks only the beginning of the growing fight against body-shaming. Shortly after Graham posted the video, women all over the world shared their own”truths” using the hashtag #ImNoAngel.
